On subsequent Friday nights, I’d have a beer (or two) and get all giddy as I played. I still remember my first playthrough, which I began on my birthday (you know, back in the day). If you want to know why I got into gaming when I didn’t really play much as a kid, I’ll point to this game as an example of epic storytelling and character development… and the combat is wicked, too. Dragon Age: Origins is a special game to me, because it’s one of the first I played as an adult that made me fall in love with video games.
